A Beautiful Terrarium Gardening
Terrarium gardening is a pleasant way for a frustrated outdoor gardener to still have an entire landscape to care for in the dead of winter. Terrariums are often used by scientific researchers to conduct studies, and people also keep them as hobbies to display various plants and creatures of interest. They can be purchased from companies that specialize in them or made by hand; people who want especially large or custom-fitted ones often end up making their own. You can create your own terrarium gardening. Here are instructions for you. Measure the circumference of your cloche and cut the foam oasis about 3/4 inch (2 cm) smaller. Place the foam oasis into a container full of water and allow to soak until it sinks to the bottom. Dig out a hole on the oasis large enough to fit your plant, being careful not to pierce all the way through to the bottom. Insert your plant into the hole.
You can add various plants if you wish in terrarium gardening. Using floral pins, attach enough moss around the oasis to cover it. Gently place the cloche over the oasis. The glass may push some of the moss upward, exposing some of the foam. Simply pull down the moss with tweezers or insert more moss to fill in the empty spaces. You can use any platform you wish. In this case, a small saucer was used.
