Fairytale Bedroom For Your Little Girl
Every little girl lives in a fairy tale storybook world all her own, so why not help her bring that passion and creativity into her actual living environment? A fairytale bedroom is a way of making them learn about various things and feel comfortable and confident about their personal environment. There are several tips to create a fairytale bedroom for your little girl. And here are some of them. In a fairytale bedroom, the walls serve as canvases to create mystical backdrops for all sorts of adventures. Paint a series of talking trees, tiny fairy houses or mushroom huts on a wall for a mysterious forest backdrop, complete with curious animals and fairies peeking out from objects in the woods. Or, paint a castle, either up-close or on a hill far away, with paths leading to it from several directions. Use some of your child’s favorite play themes as inspiration for the fairy-tale mural for decor that’s sure to delight.
Whip up the royal area of repose by decorating a canopy bed with sheer fabric that has a slight sheen to it, twinkling when light hits it. If a canopy bed is not an option, make a faux canopy by wrapping a hula hoop or embroidery hoop with long panels of sheer fabric. Curtains and bedding also can add to a fairytale bedroom. Sheer or velvety fabric for curtains in tones of pink, lavender or purple is right at home in a fairytale bedroom. Decorate pillowcases or sheets by stamping crowns or fairies on them using craft stamps and fabric paints.
