Homemade Cleaners For Your House Windows

Homemade Cleaners For Your House Windows

Windows blend the outdoor scenery with interior designs, allowing the sun to brighten rooms and the night to set a dramatic backdrop. Keeping windows clean improves the view, almost making the window itself disappear. There are several homemade cleaner recipes for your house windows. Here are some of them. Vinegar based window cleaners are a good solution. They eliminate grease and oil from glass and can be used on other home surfaces too. They also keep your windows from fogging up. It’s best to use either cider or distilled white vinegars in this solution. Rubbing alcohol glass cleaners make excellent cleaning solutions because alcohol evaporates without smudging or smearing. They are economical and can be applied straight from the container or mixed with other substances. You can also clean your windows with a soft flannel cloth and club soda. Just add a little baking soda and your windows will surely shine. To get rid of sticky spots and decals from glass and windows, use straight vinegar.

You can apply hydrogen peroxide in a ratio of one-half cup of hydrogen peroxide to four cups of water. This solution disinfects and cleans glass and other surfaces very well. To buff your windows, use newspapers to wipe them clear. Don’t forget to clearly mark the spray bottles wherever you store your homemade window cleaners. Avoid cleaning your windows when the sun is directly shining on them because the solution may evaporate from the heat quicker than you can wipe it around your window. A solution that dries too fast will cause a streaky mess.
