Instructions To Build Fences On A Slope

Installing fences in your yard is not a decision that should be made lightly. You location is a prime factor in your decision. If you want to build fences on a slope, here are several instructions for you. Measuring the slope will give you an idea of the exact height of the fencing material that you may need to purchase. As the first step, start by installing the fence posts. For that, dig holes for the posts as you would normally do for the regular fencing proceedings. Then add concrete to the base of the hole and then put the post in upright position. At the end, fill up the hole completely, with concrete. Once the posts are installed, then is the time to install the cross braces. For that, nail one plank to the fence frame which is at one end of the fence. Then add another plank to the opposite end of the fence frame. In order to put both the planks in level, you can use string line and adjust their levels if they are not correct.

Once you successfully determine the level of the starting plank, then you can easily level the rest of the planks by nailing them to the cross braces. After you are done with the installation of the planks, you can trim off the posts that are too high above the planks. If they are not, then be assured that you have successfully installed the fences on a slope.
