Instructions To Hang Kitchen Curtains
One way of enhancing the beauty of a kitchen window is by hanging curtains. Here are the instructions to hang kitchen curtains. Firstly, open the package for the adjustable curtain rod and take out the brackets and screws to hang the rod. There should be two brackets and two screws for each bracket. There should also be two pieces of curtain rod, which slide together to make one curtain rod. Screw the brackets into the window frame just above and out side the top corners of the window. You can likely screw the screws into the window frame simply by applying pressure with a screwdriver. However, if you aren’t able to do that or if you aren’t able to get the right angle to screw them in straight, you can use a drill to screw them into the window frame. Take the curtains out of the package. Wash and iron the curtains so they are flat and crisp before you hang them. It is best to use machine-washable curtains for the kitchen. Slide one end of the curtain rod into the fabric sleeve at the top of each curtain panel. Continue until all the curtains are on the rod.
If the window is particularly long, and you have several curtain panels, you can separate the curtain rod. Put half the panel on one piece and half the panel on the other piece, then slide the rods back together. Slide each end of the rod onto the hooks in the wall brackets you already installed. Since kitchen windows are often over sinks or in other hard-to-reach places, you may want to have someone else there to help you. Adjust the curtains on the rod so they are spread out and cover the window.
