Repair Your LED Lights
Durable, long-lasting, and environmentally friendly, LED lights are exactly what the world needs now. Designed to be used for decorative to regular purposes, they are also affordable forms of lighting. You may find that some LED lights stop working, and this causes many people to dispose of the entire string. You can easily repair your string of LED lights by switching out the faulty ones. Wrap a small piece of electrical tape on each light that isn’t working with the lights turned on. This way you can see which LED lights aren’t lit. Turn off the power running to the lights and unplug the lights. Pull out the first light that is marked with tape from the light fixture. Grasp the LED above the plastic covering and pull it until it releases from the fixture. Take the LED to a lighting supply store and have them give you a match for your exact LED. Buy as many as you need to replace your lights.
Insert the plastic and metal end of the LED into the socket you pulled it out of until it is firmly in place. The plastic covering of the lamp should be pointing away from the socket. Replace all of the other marked lamps in the same way. Turn the electricity back on and plug the lights back into the power. Keep several spare LED lights at your home so you can quickly switch out broken ones whenever you notice them.
