Washing Your Exterior Windows
Washing exterior windows is an important part of keeping a house clean. Clean windows look good from the outside, but they also improve the look inside the house because of all the sunlight that comes in through the windows. When you clean your exterior windows you should consider renting a pressure washer to do the job with. The pressure washer will have enough pressure to allow the water to reach windows that you normally have to get on a ladder to reach. These machines save you a lot of time, and a lot of elbow grease, when you are cleaning windows. Window washing should always be done when the weather is moderate. If it is really cold you will have a hard time removing all of the streaks from the panes of glass, and if it is hot the cleanser will dry on the glass before you can wipe it away. Clean the glass around your house in early spring when the temperatures are above 50 and below 75.
White vinegar and warm water makes a fantastic cleaning solution for your exterior windows. All you have to have is a spray bottle to put the mixture in. Vinegar and water cleans the glass effectively and cost very little. Vinegar is especially good at removing the stains left from smoking inside a building, and vinegar will not leave a residue on the glass. You can use this solution on car windows and it will not create a glare on the windshield.
